The Arkoma Mustangs Jr. High baseball team secured a tight 1-0 victory over Webbers Falls last night in a well-fought game. The Mustangs’ pitching was on point, with Brodie Farmer, Gauge Little, and Zekaria Waldon combining to shut out Webbers Falls.

Defensively, the Mustangs were solid. Jase Kolb executed an impressive unassisted double play, and Jonah Boyakin made a crucial catch in center field to preserve the shutout.

The game’s only run came in the bottom of the fourth inning when Brodie Farmer doubled to drive in Zekaria Waldon. The Mustangs’ defense and pitching ensured that this single run was enough to secure the win.

Coach Weatherton praised the team’s performance, highlighting their strong defense and pitching.

The Mustangs will look to build on this victory in their next game.
