– Greenwood looks to be wrapping up an undefeated regular season. Bulldogs now up 42-0 against Mountain Home with more than four minutes left.

Vian claims the District 2A-II-4 title with a 48-7 win at home against Valliant.

Poteau makes it 24-0 on the opening play of the fourth quarter as Spencer Perry runs it in from 9 yards out.

– Valliant gets on the board with more than three minutes left in the third. But Vian still leads comfortably, 48-7, going into the final quarter of play.

– Through three quarters, Poteau holds a 17-0 lead at Broken Bow and the Pirates are driving for more, having the ball inside the Savages’ 10.

– Greenwood pulling away from Mountain Home, as the Bulldogs now lead 28-0 after Champ Davis takes a punt 68 yards to the house late in the third quarter.

Longview now up 14-0 nearly five minutes into the opening quarter. Isaiah Horton recovered a fumble in the end zone.

– Greenwood marches down the field and now goes up 21-0 on Mountain Home with more than four minutes left in the third.

– Early on in the second half, Poteau’s Jacob Gutierrez picks off a Broken Bow pass near midfield. Pirates still in command, leading 17-0.

Greenwood still up 14-0 on Mountain Home nearly five minutes into the second half. Bulldogs forced a punt, but the kick lands at the Greenwood 5.

Longview leads Royse City 7-0 three minutes in following a weather delay. Kelvin Washington got the Lobos on the board with a 46-yard TD run.

– After a scoreless game for much of the first half, Alma takes a 3-0 lead against Farmington with 44 seconds left in the half as Daniel Rodriguez drills a 39-yard field goal.

Vian leads Valliant at the half, 48-0. Think we’ll see a running clock the entire second half.

Calvary Baptist out to a 21-0 lead against North Caddo in the opening quarter. Texas commit James Simon had a pair of TD runs, and Cavaliers’ QB Abram Wardell threw a TD pass.

– Vian recovers a fumble. On the next play, Tyson Murphy breaks loose for a 24-yard TD run. Wolverines now up 48-0 with 6:07 left until halftime. The clock is continuously running right now.

Poteau leads Broken Bow at the half, 17-0.

Greenwood holds a 14-0 lead on Mountain Home at halftime.

It’s now 41-0 Vian with 8:35 left until halftime. Draighton Fletcher takes a reverse and goes down the left sideline from 72 yards out.

Poteau now up 17-0 at Broken Bow with 3:35 left until halftime as Spencer Perry breaks loose on a 52-yard TD run.

– Vian now has a hat trick in safeties. Valliant backed up to its own 2, and another bad snap eventually rolls out of the end zone. Wolverines up 34-0 with 10:25 left in the first half.

– Pleasant Grove breaks a tie with Vian by scoring a TD on the final play of the third quarter. Hawks now up 21-14.

Vian ends the first quarter with a 32-0 lead, but the Wolverines could have had more, but they dropped a sure TD pass on the final play of the quarter.

– Poteau scores a TD with less than four minutes left in the first half. Pirates now lead Broken Bow, 10-0. A Poteau win gives Sallisaw the No. 2 seed from District 4A-4 and will get a first-round home playoff next week.

– Vian with another safety, this coming on a mishandled snap. Valliant’s QB picks it up, but is swarmed in the end zone by the Wolverines’ Cash Collins. Vian now up 32-0 with 1:03 still left in the opening quarter.

– Vian recovered a fumble inside the Valliant 10. After going backward due to a penalty, the Wolverines shake it off and punch it in once again as Masyn Wright turns in a hat trick, taking in a run from 20 yards out. It’s 30-0 Wolverines with 2:32 still on the clock in the first quarter.

Poteau holds a 3-0 lead at Broken Bow near the midway point of the second quarter in a game with huge playoff ramifications for both squads.

– Then Vian extends its lead on the free kick following the safety, as Masyn Wright fielded it at his own 41 and found an immediate opening, going in from 59 yards out. Wolverines now up 23-0 with 4:24 left in the first.

– Valliant had the ball near midfield, but a fumble and key penalties backed the Bulldogs up. Then, they were tackled in the end zone for a safety, and Vian is now up 16-0.

Greenwood takes a 7-0 lead on Mountain Home just 1:01 into the contest.

Vian now up 14-0 with 6:24 left in the opening quarter. Wolverines forced another punt and got excellent field position near the Valliant 25. Two plays later, Draighton Fletcher takes a sweep, breaks an initial tackle and runs it in from 17 yards out.

Vian up 7-0 with 9:16 left in the first as Masyn Wright goes in from 2 yards out, and Mikayah Mendoza adds the PAT.

– Vian’s Masyn Wright breaks off a 22-yard run on the Wolverines’ first offensive play to the Valliant 12. Wolverines now inside the 5.

– Vian forces a three-and-out and Valliant will punt it away. Wolverines should have excellent field position.

– Valliant will receive the opening kickoff. We are under way here in Vian.

– Getting ready to go live in a few minutes. I’m here at Vian as the Wolverines take on Valliant with a district championship at stake. But the rain is steadily falling here, though it looks like we may be starting on time.
