The 8-mile, eleven minute drive over to Panama from Spiro seemed a lot longer going back. While I don’t have the stats the Razorbacks led early 8-0 before the Bulldogs tied it at 8.

Panama (1-0) jumped back into the lead but that lead didn’t last long as Spiro (0-1) scored and went ahead 15-14.

With the score still close at 22-21 in favor of the Razorbacks, Panama then scored 18 straight for the final margin.

Spiro will play another crosstown opponent as they will host the Pocola Indians Friday, September 13 at 7:00 PM.

The Razorbacks will travel to the non-conference foe, Heavener Wolves’ home turf, Friday, September 13 with the kickoff set for 7:00 PM.

Regardless of who you’re rooting for, these matchups call for some hard hitting action. Let’s get out there and support your teams.

Quote of the week

"People ask me what I do in the winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring."
